Pros

You get to work on video games and meet lots of interesting and quirky people.

Cons

You won't get paid for what you're worth unless you make it to the executive levels.

Working for EA is a "privilege for working in the games industry". You will work crunch hours.

Raises are capped at 5% yearly regardless of your performance (usually you'll get a 1-2% raise), unless you get a promotion, which are hard to come by.

Performance bonuses for great work are usually done in EA Stock, which has a vest date, used as a cheap tactic to get you to stay for EA longer than you otherwise might.

Most positions are seen as easily replaceable labor.

Advice to Management

Treat employees better; give better salaries and benefits.
