Pros

Just to note, I was not on any of the game teams.

  • Pre-COVID, the Burnaby campus was amazing. Lots of sports to play, and participation is encouraged.
  • Lots of fun activities on special days like Halloween, etc. Great place to work during the World Cup.
  • Very inclusive and diverse.
  • The Burnaby campus is dog-friendly, so loads of cute dogs are around.
  • Management rewards and appreciates good work.
  • I experienced no crunch at all.
Cons

So many different teams working on different projects; it's hard to find cohesion.

Full-time employees working side-by-side with contractors is a bit disheartening when certain benefits (working from home stipends, invites to events, holiday closures) come up.
