Junior Software Developer Interview Experience - Verona, Wisconsin

April 1, 2025
Positive ExperienceNo Offer

Process

There is an initial phone screen for about 30-45 minutes, in which the interviewer explains the role and asks you some questions about your recent work experience and technical projects.

After the phone screening, you need to take a technical assessment online.

There were 3 stages:

  • A math/logic MCQ section
  • A coding MCQ section using a unique coding language
  • A coding whiteboard section with 4 problems

For the whiteboard section, you were able to choose which programming language to use, along with pseudocode. There was no way to compile or run your code, so I assume the focus was on how you implemented a solution.

Questions

Walk us through a recent technical project and the challenges you faced when implementing it.
