Stale Tech, Chaotic Management

Software Developer • Former Employee

Madison, Wisconsin, United States

Pros: 1. Good work & life balance. Yeah, you have time for yourself. 2. Beautiful campus. 3. It will be a good company if you really want to grow old here. (If you want to do something cool in companies like Google, Facebook, leave Epic ASAP)

Cons: 1. Cannot learn anything new. You cannot learn anything fancy here, which makes it difficult to find a job in companies like Google or Facebook. Everything learned at Epic is useless in those companies. 2. Old techniques. They are still using VB, and everything is from old age. 3. Management is in chaos. 4. Stiff company policy.
