I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks.
Their superday starts off with an online video about what Epic does and the software it provides lasting around ~45 min.
After that you have:
- A 1 on 1 with an Epic engineer where you get to ask him questions and have a talk with him about his experiences for another 30m-1h.
- A 1 on 1 with another Epic engineer where he gives you a system design question that continues to build upon itself such as how would you design a new database with realistic patient data when you have the old one, 30-1h.
- Another 1 on 1 with an engineer where you do a pair programming LC question, I got a medium backtracking.
- A 1 on 1 with your recruiter / HR which is 15m - 30m to end it off.

Pros: Good salary.
Nice environment, campus.
Madison is a very nice city, especially for married ones.
Cons: Extra hours, average working hours 45-50. Many of my friends are working 50+.
Too much stress, pressure.
Very old technologies and buggy software, a headache to deal with the 30-year-old code.
Fast development cycle, huge code, never feels like control on the code. Even 4-5 year-old people do not know code clearly.
No social life after working 50 hours.
