Process
Talked about my resume and about how experience at Epic was. The coding part was really weird, with a speed round into learning a random language and coding without being able to run code.

Meat grinder with a sparkly coat of paint
Software Developer • Former Employee
Madison, Wisconsin, United States
July 19, 2021
Pros: - Decent compensation, but it's not that stellar when you consider how much overtime is involved.
- Excellent food that's heavily subsidized.
- Beautiful campus.
- Surrounded by pretty smart and capable people.
Cons: They will extract every ounce of effort that they can from you, no matter the personal cost. Expect to consistently work many hours of unpaid overtime.
Upper levels will consistently gaslight and dehumanize you. Epic's handling of Covid/WFH really laid bare how little you matter.
Diversity and inclusion is not a thing here.
