Process
I applied online through Epic's career website.
At first, I had a phone interview, which went pretty well.
Secondly, I had an online assessment test, which had two sections:
- Learning a new programming language
- Online coding
The first section went okay, but I messed up in the online coding section.

Do bother staying too long
Software Developer • Current Employee
January 27, 2025
Pros: Good insurance, good coworkers if you are lucky. Decent pay for the area. Good springboard if you are eyeing big tech.
Cons: Equity is paltry, so overall compensation is poor compared to any other big tech firms.
Outdated and potentially proprietary tech stack (depending on what you are working on) can be difficult to market if you do decide to leave.
Work-life balance is a myth that happens to other people.
