A recruiter reached out to me via email and suggested that I apply for the position. I was interested but wanted to learn more about the company. When I suggested meeting to talk through some questions, the recruiter told me to just apply, and that my questions would be answered during the interview process. Immediately after submitting my application, I was asked to complete a long personality profile test to be taken before my first phone interview. Once the phone interview was scheduled, I was also asked to register for a multi-hour proctored skills assessment to take place before the phone screening.
During the phone screening, the interviewer seemed disengaged and uninterested in my responses. They were not prepared to answer my questions and instead spoke about unrelated topics. I was not able to have my questions answered.
