Process

Applied on Epic website. Got an email the next day to schedule a phone interview. Scheduled it for 3 days later.

About an hour and a half after my phone interview, I got an email about scheduling an online assessment. I scheduled it for 3 days later.

Online assessment:

  • Part 1: 2-minute speed round of 10 easy math questions (percents, stuff I don't remember because they were really easy, one question asked for the relationship between 2 words). I finished 9 of 10, was typing on the calculator and timed out on the 10th.
  • Part 2: 20 questions about an uncommon programming language. A little of the language is explained before each question, and you have the ability to go back to previous questions. (Concatenation, order of operations, logical operators)
  • Part 3: 4 coding problems. I've seen people compare to Leetcode medium, but I would say closer to 2 easy and 2 medium. I worked through Leetcode problems for about a week prior and I had seen all 4 of the problems, or at least something similar.

2 hours 20 minutes total.

Just took the assessment recently, will update if anything comes of it.
