Process
Applied online at their website. Within a few days, I received a call from HR about a phone interview (mostly behavioral as well as questions regarding the resume). The next step is to take a 3-hour long technical test. Still awaiting reply.

Software Developer • Former Employee

Pros: Beautiful buildings, low cost of life, and good work-life balance.
Cons: The technology used is old. It's tedious work.

They demand the world, but they work to deserve it
Software Developer • Current Employee
Madison, Wisconsin, United States

Pros: Great pay, even for applicants with little experience.
Motivated and diligent co-workers.
Management hired internally from your own worker pool -- your boss knows what the job is like and won't micromanage you.
Cons: Exceptionally demanding workload. You write code, test code, write designs, review designs, review release documentation, and answer questions from other developers looking to integrate with your team -- and you do all of it on a deadline.
Culture can pressure you to throw more of your life at the company than you might want to.
Archaic version control system.

Great Mentorship, Tricky Communication

Pros: The interns actually get to have a say in their project design, which is nice. Everyone gets a sizable office to share with one other intern, too. Each team of 2-4 interns has its own mentor for advice, which is also a plus. The pay is nice, too, and there are a lot of intern activities outside of work hours.
Cons: My specific project was a case of the team lead having an idea in mind and not communicating it well. The training could be better; there are plenty of internal manuals you can find, but you've got to hunt for them a bit.
