Quick 30-minute phone call (nothing technical).
Then the long exam over webcam. Problems weren't super difficult, but definitely be familiar with DP and do some practice problems on LeetCode.
3 weeks later, I got the on-site. This was very well run – they do all the travel planning for you, put you in a nice hotel, and will even let you stay an extra night.
Dinner the night before with an Epic employee.
Interview hardly felt like an interview; half of it was them sharing about their software and giving you the opportunity to ask questions.
Then a 45-minute case study (don't think they're looking for anything specific here, just given a basic problem, can you come up with a way to represent that?).
45-minute meeting with another developer where you just talk about a project the entire time.
Then a 30-minute meeting with HR, who asks very standard questions.
It was a very pleasant experience. They clearly care about the work they do, and everyone I talked to was very enthusiastic about the company.
What's one thing that stood out to you during your on-site?
