Process

A recruiter from Epic saw my Glassdoor profile and contacted me for an interview.

First, there was a coding test which I took on campus. The questions were sent to the career center of my university, and I took the test there. The test had 5 coding questions for which I had to write pseudocode or code in C/C++/Java.

Then, based on my test, I got a phone interview call. This lasted for about one hour, in which I mainly discussed one or two projects of mine.

Then I got an on-site interview call. This involved several segments, mostly about introducing me to the company and its work culture. One critical segment was a one-hour interview with a software engineer at Epic, in which I had to discuss a project of mine and was asked related technical questions. Also, there was an aptitude questionnaire to complete in a limited time.

I would say the interview questions were not hard. Decent-level expertise on algorithms and data structures would suffice. Their arrangements regarding hotel accommodation and travel were very impressive.
