Phone interview which was a review of my resume and projects. The interviewer was quite friendly, even though I was nervous given that this was my very first interview. Unfortunately, I did not follow up with further interviews because of prior obligations.

Not bad as a first step

Pros: Amazing compensation coming out of college. Learn a lot about working with teams.

Cons: Some of the development is strange/very different. Resources are sometimes limited when trying to learn. It can get pretty stressful. Generally, work weeks are 45 hours, though some teams demand a bit more. There are no ladders to climb.

Pros: Amazing compensation coming out of college. Learn a lot about working with teams.

Pros: Ok pay in low-cost living cities. Food is good with low cost.

Cons: As a healthier company, Epic doesn’t care about employees’ well-being that much. No WFH since July 2021, and the WFH policy is very limited.

Cons: As a healthier company, Epic doesn’t care about employees’ well-being that much. No WFH since July 2021, and the WFH policy is very limited.

Pros: - Motivated, intelligent coworkers. - Good compensation for a post-college job. Good raises/bonuses make up for lack of (public) stock options. - Awesome campus, food, and environment. - Lots of opportunities, as long as you are willing to work for it.

Cons: - Management is young, which can be frustrating at times. They don't always handle difficult situations as well as I would expect, and your experience at Epic is dependent on having a manager who watched out for you. - Work/life balance is nonexistent. High expectations from our customers and a need to please lead to a lot of late nights. - If you don't like traveling, don't consider implementation. Travel can exceed 80% at peak times.
