I submitted my application online and was requested for a phone interview via email a couple of days later. I was asked to schedule the interview and the skills test simultaneously and was given about a week's range of dates to choose from. The skills test takes a good chunk of time, and you need a calculator.

Pros: - Motivated, intelligent coworkers.
- Good compensation for a post-college job. Good raises/bonuses make up for lack of (public) stock options.
- Awesome campus, food, and environment.
- Lots of opportunities, as long as you are willing to work for it.
Cons: - Management is young, which can be frustrating at times. They don't always handle difficult situations as well as I would expect, and your experience at Epic is dependent on having a manager who watched out for you.
- Work/life balance is nonexistent. High expectations from our customers and a need to please lead to a lot of late nights.
- If you don't like traveling, don't consider implementation. Travel can exceed 80% at peak times.

Pros: Large "tech" company that could probably provide some good experience, especially for those who cannot compete with the FAANG NPCs.
Cons: Epic has a terrible Talent Acquisition Team. They post a job in every city in the US so maybe you will take their bait and be required to work in Nowheresville, WI.
Half of the job postings I see on LinkedIn are from Epic for the same position, creating a huge inconvenience for all job hunters.

Pros: Good pay and benefits.
Madison is a great place to live during the summer.
Lots of community building activities.
Huge campus with great food.
Cons: The wonder of the campus wears off quickly.
Culture is a little intense.
Very hateful of competitors.
Very old tech.
