I initially applied through my college job board.
I was contacted by someone in the QA role who spoke to me for about 30 minutes about the role. It was mostly informative with some general questions of why Epic, why the QA role?
I was then invited to the second round where I had to take a 20-30 minute behavioral test that focused a lot about what you aren't, and then a 1.5 hour online proctored exam that was a lot like SAT questions. There was verbal, math, logic/programming, a 2 minute speed test, and maybe one more subject. It was graded on accuracy and speed.
I was then invited for an on-site interview where they thought I would also be a good fit for the technical services (TS) role. They were really accommodating and managed to move my on-site interview up a week, due to a sudden deadline I had.
I stayed in a hotel the night before and had dinner with 3 other candidates and 2 employees. The next morning started at 8:30 AM and was back-to-back events. I imagine everyone's day varies a bit, but I began with a 45 minute overview of Epic and a software demo. I then moved into a QA overview, QA case study (mostly asked how you would prioritize conflicting commitments), TS overview, TS case study (almost exactly the same as the QA case study, seemed like a waste of time), HR interview, tour, and a programming assessment (about an hour long, again graded on accuracy and speed). We had a small break for lunch with some other candidates and an employee, but it was overall a very, very exhausting day.
HR does a pretty solid job, running the whole process pretty flawlessly. They invited about 20 people on-site that day, we were picked up and dropped off at all the right places. We are able to send in our receipts and receive reimbursements for any interview-related costs. They pay for all of your meals and flights; so it was a nice and pampered interview experience. They were very accommodating with my strict deadlines and able to give me a decision within a day, so their efficiency does come in handy sometimes.
Nothing was that difficult. Just expect to be really tired towards the end of the day, where even answering the most basic questions will be difficult.
