Pros

Stability of job and repetitive work if you want it.

Cons

Company management is extremely averse to change and flexibility, and has a history of underpaying workers. During COVID, while other tech companies allowed workers to work remotely, Epic employees could do so only if they stayed within 45 minutes of Epic. And while Epic has finally agreed to letting workers work remotely, upper management is eager to bring everyone back and makes it very clear.

There certainly seems to be a level of distrust between employees and upper management, as if upper management were like helicopter parents.

Advice to Management

Get your act together and realize the world is not going back to what it was pre-2020.
