Epic is great for someone who gets bored easily - even when I'm doing similar types of tasks I'm doing them in different areas and with different people. I get a lot of variety and most teams are large enough that you'll have someone who likes the things you dislike to trade off with. In general, my colleagues are smart and want to do the right things. You never get the work equivalent of that kid in your group project at school who lets everyone else do the work. The facilities are great - offices (not open office!), nice surroundings (art, underground parking) and awesome culinary team (with subsidized meals). I rarely work more than 45 hours/week and even then I do it with flexibility around my hours, in comfy clothes and with a feeling that I'm making a difference.
Epic doesn't require you to be a workaholic but we won't stop you - some people seem to struggle with setting boundaries for themselves and won't say no even when it would be reasonable.
