Compensation for quality managers is okay, but it doesn't keep pace with other roles. This often makes people in the role feel undervalued. Additionally, many of the COVID-19 and organizational changes in the recent year have led to increased departures. This has led to those that stay having more responsibility while still being recognized and compensated the same as previously.

You apply for PM or TS, and they may let you know you are also considered for the QM role. The interview includes a presentation that you have to make. I think it is effectively the same as PM, but you are judged for PM (IS) or QM.
