Pros

Great pay and raises, comfortable offices, breakroom amenities, cheap and delicious food, beautiful campus, autonomy in daily work, casual dress, young and vibrant coworkers, opportunities for advancement, interesting work, privately held

Cons

Opaque management structure, no more than 3 weeks paid vacation per year (at any tenure), poor paternal leave policies, little flexibility for remote work, high workload, transient community (people come and go from Madison all the time).

Advice to Management

Start giving your employees competitive time off and paternity leave. I will likely leave this job for those two reasons, even though I am otherwise satisfied and a very high performer. You'll continue to lose excellent employees if you remain inflexible and demanding in terms of time owed to Epic.
