Epic cares. You see it everywhere you go and in everything you do. I feel like I have a say in any decision that affects me. There is an incredible amount of autonomy afforded to you, and it really is all about what you can envision for your career.
A lot of the employees are young, whereas the majority of our counterparts in healthcare are older. It can often feel like people don't respect your designs as an expert.
Don't lose sight of the established culture.
