I learned a lot, but I didn't enjoy the work, though

3.0
Approves of CEO
Pros
  • Subsidized inexpensive lunch, breakrooms with free juice, and free coffee.
  • Large creative campus.
  • Get to own your own projects and development. No babysitting.
  • Coworkers are helpful, smart, and respectful.
Cons

Development in VB and Cache, languages that are used nowhere else outside Epic. Typescript and C# are nice if you get to work on a web migration project.

Work can be boring. I wasn't very passionate about healthcare IT and I saw work as a chore. If you can do your job and you enjoy it, that's great. I did not enjoy the work and was not as passionate about healthcare IT as my coworkers, which ultimately led me to leaving.
