Thorough onboarding process. Good salary and benefits. Provide you with a laptop and other needed tech. 1-2 person offices. Excellent food. Awesome campus.
Your success WILL depend on the manager you get, good, bad, or otherwise.
They churn through people like crazy. You're never doing enough. There's always more work to do.
Often times the people you're supposed to go to for advice/help are as new as you are.
No clear path for advancement.
Nearly half my pals in my starting group quit at the year mark because they were so burned out.
Make a clearer path to advance through the company.
Also, maybe do a little more to take care of your employees. Chewing people up and spitting them out isn't a good look, no matter how many other bright-eyed college grads you've got lined up at the door to take their places. Quantity of employees does not make up for quality. If you keep burning people out once they finally start getting familiar with the systems, it's going to bite you.
Also, take employee mental health seriously. High pressure and stress won't be good for any employee, and for anyone already struggling with mental illness? It's going to be a devastating combo. Actually train your TLs in how to help employees manage their mental health.
You apply for PM or TS, and they may let you know you are also considered for the QM role. The interview includes a presentation that you have to make. I think it is effectively the same as PM, but you are judged for PM (IS) or QM.
The first round was an online assessment and a phone interview. The online assessment consisted of math, reasoning, and programming-based questions. The phone interview was informal and just a conversation about the position.
30-minute phone interview and a 4-step skills test. The phone interview is a back-and-forth about items on your resume, with an extra discussion about what the interviewer does at the company and their experience.
