I first had an initial call, which led to a technical assignment that I aced. Finally, there was an on-site visit to NY.
I only did poorly on one question during a video chat with another senior developer. They asked a really odd question, and I believe this one question is why I did not get the job.

Pros: Pretty flexible company that doesn’t make you work to the bone. Great people to work with in the office. The facilities team does an amazing job.
Cons: Lack of company growth has destroyed the amazing appeal of Etsy's culture. Post-layoffs, working on “quick to make a dollar” projects has not paid off. Company orgs are flat, and promotions are a dream rather than a reality. Nepotism is incredibly prevalent.
