I loved my job at Etsy while I was working there as an intern. I very quickly signed a return offer for full-time. The people who work there are phenomenal.
My full-time offer was rescinded in late May, several weeks after Etsy laid off 8% of its workforce. The interns with outstanding offers had been told 3 weeks before that with 100% certainty, no offers would be rescinded.
Work on building back trust with your employees. In the past two months, you've managed to destroy it.
