The interview process involved a phone screen with the recruiter, followed by a phone screen with a Senior Manager.
The recruiter's phone interview covered standard questions.
The phone screen with the Senior Manager was 100% technical, with no questions relating to actual management. Nothing was exceptionally difficult; I knew some questions and others I did not. I felt I was approximately a 65% fit for what he was looking for.
There was 100% no follow-up from Expedia afterward. I emailed the recruiter a week later to tie up loose ends. He responded that he was gathering feedback, and then nothing followed – the sounds of silence.
I expected better from Expedia.
