Process

The process was straightforward, and the HR representative was really friendly and helpful.

The first stage of the process was the application (CV + cover letter). This was followed by a 15-minute phone interview with HR.

Within a day or two, I was informed that I had 3 days to complete a project in Java (the concept was to devise a data structure that would store hotel images). In less than 3 days, I received an email about the final interview dates.

The assessment center included:

  • A technical interview (brief review of the previous stage's project + whiteboard coding interview)
  • A CV-based interview
  • A discussion with the director (though this was not an interview)

They responded the day after with the offer, which I accepted!

Questions

Q: Differences between Java and a language of your choice (e.g., Python).

Q: Split a string with multiple delimiters and implement a class/structure to store/retrieve the needed information. Take into account aspects such as efficiency, scalability, etc.
