Process

Firstly, I was contacted by an HR person, and I briefed her on my experience as well as my motivations for this position. There were questions about past experience with my team, and finally, my expected salary.

After that, I had a call with the Project Manager of the candidate's position team.

He was friendly, but not too casual. More information about the projects I was working on was requested, especially from the perspective of working in a team. He also asked me why I should be hired – a question I was not very familiar with until then.

Thirdly, there was the technical interview, an automated process in which you receive a series of questions. These were answered either by recording yourself on video or by typing.

From those, only one involved coding; many were a bit overly general, like 'Why choose JavaScript?' etc.

After completing the latter, there was just radio silence and unanswered emails.

Questions

Why should we hire you?

Why choose Javascript?

What does a framework like Angular offer more than vanilla JS?

Imagine your page is slow. What would you do to make it faster?
