I was interviewed for the position of SDE III on September 26, 2022.

My first round was an HM (Hiring Manager) interview focused on:

  • Decision Making / Dealing with Ambiguity
  • People Management

I cleared this round, and HR scheduled another interview for September 30, which was intended to cover System Design (HLD/LLD), a Tech deep dive, and operational excellence. I received a Zoom link and meeting invite for this.

Suddenly, on September 29, I received a call from HR stating that they were no longer hiring for this position. If a company decides not to hire for a position, there is no point in wasting a candidate's time.
