Process

Spoke with recruiters at a university career fair. Received a "call-back" later that day to set up an on-campus pair whiteboarding interview for 8 a.m. the following morning. Later that week, I heard back for an online HackerRank challenge. They took a long time to respond after this, but I got the offer after a phone call (just a "what are you looking for" / "this is what our program is like" phone call).

Pair whiteboarding: One interviewer and two interviewees were in a room with a whiteboard and markers. The interviewer read the questions and evaluated both my solution and collaboration. I was told at the start that we were expected to get through about two problems. I found out later that my partner and I were the only ones to get through two problems. One was about the difficulty of a HackerRank medium, and one was a HackerRank hard.

HackerRank technical challenge: The usual deal: 60 minutes, 2 questions. One was about the difficulty of a HackerRank medium, and one was ridiculously easy.
