The interview process was overall very good. It was conversational and more of a discussion, as opposed to a routine interrogation. The interviewers made me feel comfortable and also tried to understand my views on certain aspects of the role.
I had one phone round and three onsite, face-to-face interviews (single day).
The first two interviews went well in terms of discussion. The last interview was the complete opposite. The interviewer was constantly doing something on their laptop and rarely made eye contact, seeming totally uninterested in the chat. The third interviewer was also more interested in job titles held previously, as opposed to the actual work done in terms of roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
I got the feeling that the interview was just a formality for rejection. To this date, after almost six weeks, I haven't received any feedback. I know at this point I was not selected, but I expected at least a one-liner stating that I was not selected. I had invested time, money, and energy in the process, along with the interviewers, and I expect some feedback at the very least.
The interview included scenario-based questions, as well as questions about leadership and management styles.
There were also some technical design questions to gauge the approach to requirements.
Overall, it was a very interesting interview format.
