The interview process was pretty muddled. The initial recruiter invited me to an interview and then forgot to send the link to the coding challenge, several times. The coding challenge had some technical difficulties, and the platform crashed during it. I still managed to get enough done to be passed on to the next round. That was followed by a conversation with the recruiter. They said to expect to hear something and to remind them in three days if I hadn't heard from them. Three days went by, and I didn't hear from them. I sent an email. Another three days passed, and I sent another email. A week later, I sent a third email. Finally, I got an apology and was switched to a different recruiter to schedule a virtual onsite. By far, this was the easiest onsite interview I've had. There was one interview based around culture and fit, which I thought went well. They asked a thought question around designing a theoretical item. Then there were three interviews with LeetCode easy-medium style problems. The problems weren't hard, but the interview timing was a little odd. For the first problem, I came to a solution in 20 minutes, and then the interviewer didn't have anything else to ask. For the next one, they cut the interview 30 minutes early. I was confused about the timing of the interview. The last one was better paced. I was told I came to the ideal solution and did very well at each stage. I was very surprised to receive a form rejection letter three days later. On the bright side, that was the fastest they got back to me at any part of this process. I think my salary expectations might have been too high, but that's on them for not wanting to pay market rate.
