Received a HackerRank assessment interview with two questions (LeetCode medium problems) and seven multiple-choice questions testing general CS skills.
Did well on the interview and was told, "Will be in touch for the final round." This is the second time in two hiring seasons. For some reason, they "didn't get around to my application due to a robust pipeline of candidates."
Recruiters are essentially nonexistent until they tell you they've finished hiring for the season. They are super unorganized and unhelpful. It feels like they took a page out of their customer service book. Applications were pulled.
Run-length encoding and dynamic programming problems using matrices.
The run-length encoding is pretty easy, using a StringBuilder and iterating over each character in the string passed as an argument.
The other problem involved iterating through a matrix using two different reference points to find the shortest path between them.
