I received a call from a recruiter. She was very arrogant and attempted to teach me how to write my resume.
After realizing she wouldn't stop criticizing me, I mentioned that my resume had been reviewed by senior individuals from Google and Facebook.
She immediately retorted, suggesting I should "go and look for opportunities in Google and Facebook only."
I felt insulted and remained silent afterward.
It was at that very moment I decided not to pursue the opportunity with Expedia.
First impressions are lasting. This was a very bad one for me as a candidate.
