Pros

I enjoy working with a professional, top-notch, yet friendly staff.

Cons

The benefits package leaves much to be desired.

In recent years, the health and vision plan have been going downhill. I wish they brought back stock options too.

Career advancement seems to be restricted to the good 'ole boys network in some but not all areas.

In the last few years, the company seems to be getting more penny-wise and pound-foolish.

A move in Nov 2008 to tighter quarters involving all cubicles will result in the annihilation of one of Microsoft's greatest legacies of this spinoff: worker offices.

Advice to Management

Improve health benefits and compensation.

Offer stock options as an alternative to restricted stock units.

Move to a larger building that would accommodate company growth and retain the office perks.
