Used to be great, but quality has dropped in the past year or so
Pretty good pay.
Used to be really good work-life balance, but at least in my organization, it has been grind time for a while now. However, they are still very understanding that life comes first sometimes.
Great people to work with and opportunities to grow.
Work-life balance and pay seem to be trending lower since the layoffs and the pandemic over the past year. The code seems to have pretty consistently low quality and use old technologies as far as I have seen. There's constant pushback when trying to work with or request anything from other teams.
Invest in reducing code debt.
Find ways to incentivize teams to work with each other and help each other.
