Very good culture. They value the employees a lot.
Managers and colleagues are very good.
Encourages recognitions among peers.
Good employee benefits:
Good for freshers. They can get to learn best values and culture that they can carry forward throughout their career.
Work-life balance is as per how a person plans for themselves. If you want to work more, you can pick more tasks. If not, that's okay; there's always one or the other person who's ready to get overloaded. Management looks at the team rather than the individual.
Salary structure is bad. Many freshers get salaries higher than SE2s with 5 YOE. So, it's all about how well we can negotiate.
Work is not so great. There's less innovation; it's mostly maintenance and support work. If you are looking to innovate or work on the latest tech, this is not the right place. Their codebase is written in the mid-90s using old technologies. Though the Hyderabad office name has the word "innovation" in the middle, all the latest innovation and quality development work resides in the US.
Directors show favoritism towards certain teams and managers, which leads to partiality in budget allocation. This affects appraisals and promotions.
As said in the pros, though some might work less and some get overloaded, at the end of the day, appraisals are always equal or nearly equal, irrespective of yearly performance.
There are a lot of gimmicks from the HR team regarding hiring. They lack transparency and show favoritism based on referrals.
Kindly consider the career aspirations of employees and find some work which helps them grow in that direction.
Try to balance salaries as per YOE and give value to the candidate's skills and abilities rather than the tier or brand of the college or company they are from.
Improve the hiring strategy and also focus on retaining the best talent. People are leaving due to a lack of opportunities in their desired domain.
1st round: test. 2nd round: C++, Linux basics. Asked if I have any cloud or DevOps skills. A small program. 3rd round: managerial, which was again a C++ program and discussed about my projects in resume. Final round: HR round.
There were three rounds. The first was a coding assessment. If you clear it, the next two technical rounds should be 60 minutes long. They mainly focused on HTTP and networking.
The interview process typically includes multiple rounds, such as: * Resume screening * An initial HR call * Technical assessments * Coding or problem-solving tests * Final interviews focusing on technical and behavioral skills.
