Reading these comments, I see a trend here. I wish I had read these interview experiences prior to wasting my 20 minutes. I applied and heard back from a recruiter to schedule an interview.
We conducted a quick phone screening that went very well, though there were some red flags pinging in my head. A few hours later, I received a rejection email.
While I am overqualified for the role, I was still a perfect candidate that should have been moved forward to at least the next stage in the process. I've never had an auto-rejection after a recruiter call, so this was quite odd.
