I worked with the Test Engineer Team at Faire. One thing I really enjoy is that the test engineers here are more like infrastructure. We have more time to work as developers, to provide tools that benefit people from other teams.
People here are really nice. We have "Donuts Meetings" to randomly meet people from the company and chat with them. I met several staff or senior engineers who are all really nice and provided me with useful information.
Also, I really appreciate the opportunities Faire provides me to investigate and learn new things, with the help of other full-time engineers. I feel like I am not just working there, but I am actually learning there! I really appreciate the chances and help people provide me at Faire. And I will return as a backend Engineer Intern in winter, which is so exciting!
Maybe one thing is that salary is not as high as trading companies?
LeetCode style interview, first hour introductory call. Then a CodeSignal process where there were two questions: one medium and one easy. One medium difficulty. No callback afterwards from the CodeSignal.
One round of phone screen to align on the basics, two to three rounds of technical, which is mostly LeetCode/DS&A type of questions, and one round of manager match (had to do an additional round due to role change).
