4. Flat hierarchy. You can reach out to anyone just over a Slack message.

The India office is like a puppet controlled from the US office. Though the US has a great culture, it's not replicated here.

Almost all meetings and standups are in their morning time, making India engineers feel less inclusive.

All decision-making is in the US, and only the final roadmap is shared with India teams, with no involvement in planning.

A lot of mid-to-high level leadership have never worked in a cross-timezone scenario, and they treat the India office like an offshore team in a service company setting.

India leadership is not given any scope to be influential and make a better work environment.

Give more authority to Indian leadership. Let them form their own culture.
