Pros

At Fanatics Collectibles, some top-level management are knowledgeable, roll their sleeves to produce meaningful work, and demonstrate real leadership.

Cons

There are serious concerns about the effectiveness and competence of the CFO and some high-level leaders, raising questions about their continued roles within the organization.

The equity refresh plan has not met expectations. Candidates were promised during the hiring process an annual equity refresh, but this has not been implemented as promised.

There are issues with HR's communication and transparency. The Chief People Officer is rarely heard from, and plans are often executed without clear explanations. HR seems to adopt strategies from larger corporations without considering their suitability for our company.

The company tends to hire a significant number of former consultants, which seems to come at the expense of bringing in talent focused on producing tangible deliverables. These consultants often prioritize organizing large meetings and creating presentations instead of producing actual deliverables.

Advice to Management

Not sure what to suggest, as the problem starts from the very top.
