I applied through the company website, as I have 4 years of experience as QA in India. I completed my masters in Dublin from 2023 to 2024. I had to take a gap of 1 year and 8 months. The recruiter reached out to me and asked the reason for this gap. I explained that the gap was due to my masters. They did not reply to me over this email for 1 week, then later I received an automated email of rejection. What kind of people are these? Now they judge candidates by the gap they have, or by the skills and experience they carry? This is with a justified gap. Very disappointed.
