I got a call from a consultancy initially for the opening, and they shared my profile with Fidelity Investments. Later, I got a call from Fidelity HR and was told that an initial telephonic interview would be scheduled.
Post 3 days, I got a call that I had cleared the telephonic interview, and a F2F would be scheduled in a day.
The interview was delayed by 1 hour and 30 minutes from the scheduled time on a working day, and no prior intimation was given to me about the delay.
Post 2 days, I was called for further discussions with the Hiring Manager.
Done with the managerial round and HR round as well on the same day itself, and was asked to send required documents (payslips, revision letter, etc.) to initiate the process. Sent the docs on the same day.
****** No update from HR *****
1 week later, I had called the HR for an update, and I was told that the opening was on hold, and I was referred to another opening with a similar skillset.
Attended another 2 rounds of interview with the new team.
The very next day, I called the HR for an update, and again, I was told that the opening was on hold.
I was also told that both the managers gave positive feedback for me and they were happy with my performance.
******* 40 days later *******
No response from the HR until now, even after repeated phone calls and mails. HR even stopped attending my calls intentionally.
I have never seen such unprofessional HR until now.
Very bad recruitment process, as they are not sure if they have an opening or not.
