Process

There will be 2 technical and 1 HR round.

I attended 2 technical rounds there and did pretty well. At last, they said they are looking for stable candidates. As I was already working for my 3rd company in 5 years, they didn't shortlist me for the HR round.

I interviewed for a Java Full Stack Developer position.

1st round:

  • Overloading
  • Annotations
  • Why Spring is famous, why Java?
  • Difference between Collection and Collections?
  • Is singleton pattern good?
  • Abstraction and encapsulation
  • Memory leak issue in Java

2nd round:

  • Project architecture
  • Web services security
  • How to check memory taken by a Java program?
  • Singleton design pattern
  • How to make ArrayList thread-safe?
  • Few thread-based questions
  • Can we have private variables in an interface?
  • What if an interface is private?
  • AngularJS significance of controller?
  • How to share data between controllers?
  • How to retain data when navigating between pages?
  • Which is better: local storage or cache?
  • Java 8 lambda and anonymous class difference?
  • Difference between ArrayList and Vector?
