There was a phone screen where my details were confirmed and they checked if I was still interested in pursuing the role. A second, more in-depth recruiter call followed that fairly soon. That call was used as a get-to-know-you session and to align on salary expectations and the available role. Then, an interview was scheduled with the VP of Engineering for the team I was interviewing with. That was a fairly standard chat about previous roles and tech stacks I have experience in, and an opportunity to ask questions about the team, etc.
