Managers/CLs could better evaluate employees' contributions by considering multiple perspectives rather than relying on feedback from a single team member. Favoritism significantly impacts appraisals and promotions.

Cons: Boomer culture trickles down into software engineering teams. A few good developers in a team of average devs.

Pros: Not fast-paced, relaxed work environment, decent salary structure. Diversity and inclusion is really superb.

Cons: Not good for really ambitious folks. Middle management is usually very lazy to grow your career and the company.
