Good work culture, but it will depend on the team and the manager.
Good 401K match and profit sharing will take care of your retirement. You can use your net salary for other things and not worry about retirement.
If you join in Feb or Mar, you will work for 11 or 10 months in that year and won't be eligible for the profit sharing next year. Vs someone joining in Nov or Dec, they may not get profit sharing for just 1 or 2 months. This to me looks a little unfair.
