Pros

Benefits:

  • 401k
  • IRA-Roth
  • Learn A LOT about how to effectively manage your money (you don't even have to be an advisor to learn strategies – it just becomes innate after the frequent conversations and projects one participates in)
  • Corporate Perks/Discounts
  • Corporate Amex (if applicable)
Cons

If your passion or interest isn't in the financial industry, this career quickly becomes just a job.

Corporate bureaucracy: everyone seems to hate their job but will quickly act like they love it when asked.

Tuition Reimbursement: Continue education with 90% reimbursement up to $10,000. Seriously, what "good" graduate school, B-school, etc., has a tuition of $10,000 per year? None.

Advice to Management

Become more understanding with employee work/life balance.

Employees seem to have no say in their roles.
