Pros

They have great benefits, very competitive pay, and I was able to work from home three days a week.

Cons

Some management could be difficult, and it seemed certain employees were favored.

There was very little positive reinforcement in my group.

There were too many directors and managers, and there was a lot of bureaucracy at Fidelity. It can be frustrating to get things done or affect good changes.

Also, while I was able to work from home, I also had offshore resources from China on my project teams. This required me to conduct meetings either very early in the morning (around 6:00 AM) or very late in the evening (after 8:00 PM).

Advice to Management

Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement where it is due. Treat the employees on your teams equally.
