There are plenty of opportunities for exploring things.
It’s very slow-paced in terms of innovation. The management is not very technologically aware and struggles to catch up with the industry. They make unwise decisions on technology direction. On the business side, there’s next to zero innovation.
Fix the CIO organization to have more visionary leaders. Wasted a lot of time with improper tool selection, like FoD and Openshift.
Do focus on business innovation. The top management of a business unit doesn’t understand the product business at all. The company doesn’t practice business innovation and doesn’t research for new opportunities. It’s highly ad hoc.
