Excellent benefits.
Friendly people.
Open and friendly culture.
Standards are poor and quality is very low. I feel I have regressed in terms of my skills since joining the company. Anyone outside the US is referred to as "off-shore" and is simply there to do repetitive, boring programming, with no influence or say in how things are done.
Engineers in the US seem to work around the clock and never seem to implement any of the modern best practices that would make their lives easier.
If you are an engineer looking to develop your skills and progress in your career, then joining this company would be a bad move.
Stop referring to teams outside the US as "off-shore"; it's dismissive. Invest in autonomous, self-empowered teams if you want to beat your competitors and retain staff.
The first round was a phone interview with HR. The second round was a technical/behavioral round with the hiring manager. The final round was a live coding/technical round with 2 principal software engineers. The whole process took almost 2 months
The interview was easy, but the interviewer was bad at his own concepts. He did not have proper communication skills and did not explain the coding questions correctly. This led to a lot of wasted time, because of which I could not finish the second
First round was a screening call, which got postponed for a week. Then I went for a technical round. Interviewers were not welcoming. It felt like an interrogation rather than an interview.
